My favorite article was The Rise of the Jellyfish. I liked this article because I love jelly fish I always wanted one. Something cool is my Dentist I use to go to had jellyfish in a tank and they glowed! What scares me is I love swimming in the ocean so next time I go swimming in the ocean I will have to watch out! Another fact I liked about this and I thought was pretty cool was the jellyfish could be smaller than your pinky finger to be as big as a car! Now that is pretty BIG! I found that under the paragraph that says Aliens on Earth. It says, “You can find them ranging from smaller than your pinky finger to almost as big as a car.’’

Great response Logan! I like the details you wrote into your response.
One thing I want you to look at would be how you ended your response. Shoud you end with a quote? For being the first response for 6th hr. you will receive 3 bonus points.

I like “remembering Marie” because it show the damage that it did to Porta Ricco. Also I feel bad for the people because it killed 3,000 people so that’s why 100,000 people moved to the mainland. So that’s why everybody will remember Hurricane Maria.

My favorite Story was ‘’The Rise of the Jellyfish’’ because jellyfish can come in all shapes and sizes d bloom made the headlines. There are more than 2000 different types of jellyfish. Jellyfish have tentacles that have thousands of needle like stinger so I would not touch one. Jellyfish can be all sizes to the size of a car to the size of your pinky. It might seem like something out of a movie but in Germany in July the giant blob were jellyfish.

My favorite article is “ Remembering Maria”. My first reason this is my favorite is that I love how they remember stuff that destroyed Puerto Rico and how they are fixing this stuff. My second reason that I picked this article to be my favorite is that the article says “ September 20, 2017 is a day that people of Puerto Rico will never forget.” The reason I picked this quote is that it shows that the people of Puerto Rico will stay strong and never forget this devastating hurricane. My final reason I picked this article is because it tells that it is possible to never forget tragedies like this and that you can do something about it.

My favorite article is ''The Rise of the Jellyfish''. My first reason that this article is my favorite is that jellyfish's eggs are very tiny.
"Jellyfish have tentacles covered with thousands of needle-like stingers". My final reason I picked this article is because it tells that you can get really hurt if you touch a jellyfish.

My favorite article is ''The rise of the Jellyfish.'' I like this article because jelly fish are my favorite animal. Even though I've always one as a pet, I'm not so sure now. If you step on a jelly fish or get stung by a jelly fish you will be in a lot of pain. When i went to the zoo, there was a jelly fish exhibit, and they glow , that was years ago. All in all, this is why,''The rise of the jelly fish,'' is my favorite article.

My favorite article is, "The Nose Knows " because it is about elephants and their big trunks, this is my favorite article because, it talks about an animal and I really love animals! This is also my favorite article because elephants are very interesting animals and there are a bunch of cool facts about them. In the text it states "Elephants use their super-long snouts to pick up tree branches, give themselves a shower, and even comfort their young. " This is why I chose the article, "The Nose Knows!"

My favorite article is “The Rise of The Jellyfish”. One of the things I really liked about it is how it is so many important stuff in it like “Each jellyfish is the size of an refrigerator.” Another thing is that how a group of birds is called a flock.” A massive groups of jellyfish, are called blooms.” So that is a reason why this is my favorite article another reason is I love how interesting it is. I would love to read more and more.

My favorite article is “The Rise of the Jellyfish”. This is my favorite article because it uses real life measurements to size the jellyfish. I know this because the article says “Each is about the size of a refrigerator”. This quotation sizes jellyfish around the size of real world objects to help picture how big a jellyfish is. Another reason “The Rise of the Jellyfish” is my favorite article, is that the article tells multiple ways how jellyfish population is growing rapidly. One way jellyfish population is growing rapidly is that humans fish too much so jellyfish have less of a threat due to the decrease in their predator the fish. I know this because the article says “As humans catch more of these fish jellyfish face fewer threats”. The article states that due to this fishing increase that “Jellyfish populations may grow as a result”. These reasons are why “The Rise of the Jellyfish” is my favorite article

My favorite scholastic news article is” should you keep the money you find?” because I like how it gives you an option. In the story Eric finds 20$ and gives it to his teacher. I would have tack it to a parent so they could finger out it is. I also agree with Eric because he did the right tang`.

My favorite article is The Rise of The Jellyfish. I like this specific article because I personally think jellyfish are unique and smart in a way others don’t see. This is my favorite piece out of this whole article because “Jellyfish are have umbrella shaped bodies and are more than 95% made of water.” They are unique because they have “thousands of needle like stingers.” They are very tiny or very large and they all differ in size. ”You can find the raging from smaller than you pinky finger to almost as big as a car.” These reasons are why I like the piece about jellyfish.

my favorite article is growing up with harry potter because I myself is a harry potter fan and I love reading the books. also i think it is sad what had happened in Puerto Rico how they were all huddled together in the house while the hurricane hit. The jellyfish article i did not know that jellyfish had no heart brain or blood that is very weird its almost like their not alive.

My favorite article is "The Rise of The Jellyfish" because I found out that there "invertebrates" which means they don't have backbones and they don't have brains, blood,or hearts either.I also found out that they have thousands of needle-like stingers. But last i found out that when they come in contact with another sea creatures,it shoots venom from its stinger into the victim to kill or paralyze it.

My favorite artical is “Remembering Maria”. The number one reason I like that artical is because this article is about the most powerful Hurricane in History. “September 20,2017, is the date that the people in Puerto Rico will never forget. Nine year old Raul Hernandez is one of them. On that day, the island was ravaged by one of the most powerful Hurricanes in history-Hurricane Maria”. The second reason I like this artical is because the people in Puerto Rico will never for get there loved ones they lost in the hurricane, they will not forget the winds, and load thunder, and heavy rain that ripped apart the island. Just a year after the hurricane some people on the island are still trying to get there lives together. This hurricane was so bad that the damage it did they needed the United States to help them with electricity, and pipes, and sewage under ground. The management they got from the US was the FEMA-The Federal Emergency Management Agency. Finally after the storm and a long year and a couple months the island just got power back for the island. The reason I picked up this artical is because this tells you about a tragic fonaminan that happed in History. This is why I picked this so you could remember the people that were on Hurricane Maria.

My favorite article out of The Rise of the Jellyfish and Growing up with Harry Potter was The Rise of the Jellyfish. This one is my favorite because it has a lot of interesting facts like “You can find them ranging from smaller than your pinky finger to almost as big as a car!” There was another fact that surprised me it said “Beware! Dead jellyfish that wash up on the shore can still sting you!” I would love to see a jellyfish in person but I think I would be scared because I would not want to get stung by one. I know it’s not going to kill me but I bet it would really hurt from what my grandma said when she got stung by one when she was in the ocean.

My favorite article was the '' Nose Knows'' because one of my favorite animals are elephants even my Moms. Also I really like where it talks about the y shaped maze and the elephants had to go threw it and find their food, that shows how smart animals can be. Here is my favorite text '' As part of study, scientist in South Africa set up a 21 foot long maze that was shaped like a y. One path led to a food the elephants like, such as leaves from a wild pear tree.'' And they made it threw. So that is why '' The Nose Knows'', was my favorite article.
